- Theekshana R&D has successfully completed the Met Data Switching System for the Meteorology Department, Sri Lanka and is ready to use.
- The main scope of this project is to develop a web application that facilitates meteorological data entry and FM 94 BUFR conversion.
- Stations located around the country will use the application to enter meteorological data at predefined times.
- Also, it facilitates the conversion of station data to FM 94 BUFR format, and AWS data will be converted to FM 94 BUFR hourly by the server.
- This system will help to increase productivity and data security while providing adaptability to change.
