The 29th International Meeting on Automated Finger Print Identification System (AFIS) was held in Sri Lanka at Hotel Galadari from 18th to 19th November 2014. This meeting was organized by the Interpol Sri Lanka section. Inspector General of Police Mr. N.K. Illangakoon, Senior Deputy Inspector General of Police (Administration) Mr.Gamini Navarathna, DIG, CID Mr. D.W.R.B. Seneviratna, Director Criminal Record Division Senior Superintendent of Police Mr.Priyantha jayakody, Register of Finger Print Chief Inspector of Police Mr. Chandana Perera, OIC Interpol Inspector of Police Mr. Rajakaruna, and many foreign Finger Print experts were present at this meeting.
