77. Restructuring of www.danuma.lk In this project, Theekshana developed a new portal of Nensalas where each Nanesala can have an individual web site. The portal was developed with Joomla and Theekshana also developed a wizard to create child sites in a few steps by clicking. In addition, Theekshana developed several Joomla extensions for replication of data from Child to Parent as well as parent to child. Theekshana has been contracted to set up Moodle based Learning Management Systems at remote faculties of the Royal University of Bhutan which are connected through Virtual Private Networks (VPN) to the center and each other. The implementation of the project is expected to be carried in the latter part of 2010. The system study for the project was carried out in the latter part of 2009 and the specifications of Hardware had been provided for purchase in the beginning of this year. With the introduction of AFIS, Sri Lanka became the first South Asian country which has invented such a sophisticated technology to identify criminals.
